In the Version 5.1 newly added the feature of Part Mechanic. You can click on the unit you want to upgrade, and then select parts. There is a Part Mechanic feature in the lower left corner.
This system is mainly to provide additional attribute bonuses to the parts equipped by the current unit, which will only increase the durability and firepower, and other attributes will not be increased.
The bonus for all part slots means that all part slots of the unit can get the bonus of firepower and durability, while the extra part slot bonus only refers to the 3 exclusive part slots that unlocked when the unit is level 20, 30, and 40. The two part slots unlocked at level 50 and 60 will not receive the extra part slot bonus of the firepower and durability.
You can check this picture for more details. The red line belongs to all part slots, and the part of the green line belongs to the extra part slots.
It takes 817,850 armorer's wrenches to upgrade the Ground Part Mechanic to level 100, and 1,635,700 armorer's wrenches to upgrade the Air Part Mechanic to level 100.

Because it is based on the base value of the part to add a percentage bonus, this system has more benefits for players with gold++ parts. At the same time, it also reduces the difficulty of fighting the black crow and clearing the battle, so that allows early players to level up faster.
Tips:
1. When the level of any unit reaches level 40, the feature of the Part Mechanic can be unlocked, and even the 3 stars unit has this feature.
2. The upgrade of the Part Mechanic will only work on this unit.
3. All armorer's wrenches will be returned when we reset and dismantle this unit.
