In version 8.0, the original mechanic has evolved into Classic Mechanic. A mechanic can improve the attributes of a unit and this article will give you a walkthrough of the Mechanic system and its gameplay.

The Mechanic system does not limit the star of the unit. As long as the unit reaches level 40, it can be used after unlocking the Parts system. The Mechanic level of each unit is calculated independently. The initial level of the Mechanic is 0, called the Classic Mechanic, and the upgrade requires Armorer's Wrench which can be acquired through Black Market, VIP Store, Arena and Gift Package.

After upgrading the level of the Mechanic, the attributes of the unit's equipped parts will be improved according to the level of the Mechanic. There are four attributes that can be improved: Firepower, HP, Firepower%, and HP%. The buffs of the Mechanic are to strengthen the attribute of the parts, not the unit's attribute. If there is no part equipped, or the attribute of the part does not belong to these four types, you cannot enjoy the buff.

When the Classic Mechanic is at level 1, the Firepower and HP are increased by 1.3%, and the Firepower% and HP% bonuses are increased by 1%. The buffs are different at different levels; please refer to the picture for details.

Regarding the buffs, let's explain them one by one according to the parts in the picture. When the Mechanic is Lvl12, and the Firepower/HP buffs are 15.6%, the Firepower of the Anti-Tanks Part changed from the original 3000 to 3000+3000*15.6%=3468. The calculation of HP is the same. As for the Firepower%/HP% buffs, the Mapper of the equipped part is 1.8%, and after buff is 1.8%+1.8%*12%=2.02%. If the equipped part is HP buff, the calculation is the same. Different from the Firepower/HP buffs, the Firepower%/HP% buffs increases by multiplying the total Firepower/HP by the buffs' value.

When the Mechanic level reaches 100 and the unit is above 8 stars, the Classic Mechanic will be upgraded to Modern Mechanic. Different from the Classic Mechanic, Modern Mechanic divides the four buffs into two categories: Offensive Systems and Defensive Systems. The Offensive Systems provides Firepower and Firepower% buffs, and the Defensive Systems provides HP and HP% buffs.

The levels of the Offensive Systems and Defensive Systems are calculated separately, with an initial upper limit of Lvl20. Every time the unit’s star is upgraded, the level upper limit of the Offensive Systems and Defensive Systems will be raised by 20 levels at the same time. When the unit is upgraded to 9.2 stars, the upper limit of the level is 120. To unlock the level upper limit of the next stage, both the Offensive Systems and Defensive Systems need to be upgraded to the current highest level. For example, the current unit is 8.1 stars, the Offensive Systems is Lvl20, and the Defensive Systems is Lvl15. As long as the Defensive Systems is upgraded to Lvl20, the level upper limit for both will be changed to Lvl40.
In addition to the use of Armorer's Wrench, other epic materials are also used for upgrading. These materials can be acquired by disassembling the Parts in the Disassembly Plant, or they can be synthesized with corresponding materials. Every 100 corresponding materials can be synthesized into 1 corresponding epic material.

There are two types of buffs provided by upgrading Modern Mechanic: ① upgrading the Offensive Systems and Defensive Systems will directly increase the Firepower/HP of unit. ② upgrading to the specified level (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120), it will additionally increase the Firepower and HP of the Parts. The buffs of the four attributes (Firepower, HP, Firepower%, HP%) will be 160% at the full level. These buffs can take effect together with that of the Classic Mechanic, and the full-level buffs of both are shown in the picture.

The Mechanic is a system to further strengthen the unit, which can make the Parts play a stronger effect. It is a very powerful system.
