Hey Commanders, this is Fred Kendall coming at you from the Developer War Room. It's a pleasure to be back with you all so soon. Now, let's take a look at the details of the update.
[New Navy Units]
1. Camp Liberty - Aircraft Carrier
a. Aircraft Carrier have a firing range of 8 Map Grids.
b. They can attack ships and Naval Bases with their carrier-based aircraft, which can be countered by any anti-aircraft weapons.
c. A maxed Aircraft Carrier Troop has an equal number of airplanes and ships, each occupying half of the Reserves.
d. The number of airplanes cannot exceed the number of carriers. If enemy attacks reduce the number of carriers below the number of airplanes, any excess airplanes are lost.
e. When there are fewer airplanes than carriers, training an Aircraft Carrier Troop will replenish its airplanes first. The replenished airplanes will be visible on the carriers.
f. The Officers of an Aircraft Carrier Troop can only prepare for their tactical skills while the airplanes are bombing their target.
g. While garrisoned, an Aircraft Carrier Troop attacks using missiles with firepower equivalent to that of its carrier-based airplanes.
h. Each Aircraft Carrier Troop occupies two Map Grids, and the Grid occupied by the carrier's bow is considered the troop's location.
2. Camp Liberty - Guided Missile Destroyer
a. Guided-Missile Destroyers have a firing range of 5 Map Grids.
b. They have the highest Fortification Dmg among all naval Units.
c. Missiles have a 100% firing accuracy, but they are vulnerable to interception along their trajectories. The faster the speed of a missile, the less likely it is to be intercepted. Conversely, the stronger the defense of the target, the greater its chances of intercepting an incoming missile.
3. Martyrs' Watch - Submarine
a. Submarines moves underwater and have a firing range of 2 Map Grids.
b. Under normal circumstances, Submarines are only visible to its owner and allies.
c. Their position will be exposed to all players upon entering combat and when there are enemies within 2 Map Grids around it.
d. They will become invisible again 10 seconds after leaving combat and moving away from enemies.
e. They can be positioned beneath other Naval Troops, similar to how Helicopter Troops can hover over Ground Force Troops, but they cannot move through obstacles.
f. Besides the Main Weapon against other ships and Naval Bases, ships are also equipped with anti-submarine weaponry. Naval ships can attack Submarines with anti-submarine weapons.
4. Martyrs' Watch - Armored Destroyer
a. Armored Destroyers are equipped with heavy naval guns and thick armor, and have a firing range of 4 Map Grids.
b. The naval guns have high penetration, allowing them to deal damage to other Destroyers and Aircraft Carriers efficiently.
c. Their thick armor is difficult to penetrate by naval guns on most warships or torpedoes from submarines. It also reduces damage taken from garrisoned troops.
d. Armored Destroyers have a relatively slow speed.
5. Vanguard Division - Anti-Submarine Frigate
a. Anti-Submarine Frigates are high-speed Unit that can be used to counter submarines. Their main weapons are light naval guns with a firing range of 4 Map Grids.
b. They are capable of detecting Submarines within 4 Map Grids.
c. They are equipped with anti-submarine torpedoes, the most effective weapon against submarines.
d. They have the fastest speed among all ships.
6. Vanguard Division - Anti-Aircraft Destroyer
a. Anti-Aircraft Destroyers are Support Unit capable of attacking both ships and aircraft. Their Main Weapon is a medium-sized missile with a firing range of 5 Map Grids.
b. Their anti-aircraft weapons are effective against the carrier-based airplanes.
c. They have a strong defense against missiles.
d. They can enhance the defense of nearby allied ships in battle.
7. All ships, except Aircraft Carriers, can attack while moving to pursue their target.
a. After receiving a command to attack a new target, your ship will move toward it and open fire once it is within firing range. If the target then moves out of range, your troop will keep attacking while pursuing the enemy.
b. The ship's firing range will increase by 2 Map Grids when attacking while moving.
c. While attacking on the move, a Naval Troop deals less damage with its normal attacks, and the preparation for its Officers' tactical skills will be slowed. However, ships with high pursuing capabilities are less affected by these drawbacks.
8. You can relocate your Base to the sea and convert it into a Command Ship, which can then be made into a Naval Base.
a. When your Naval Base is attacked, only the garrisoned Naval Units will fight back.
b. A Naval Base can be converted back to a Command Ship
c. A Command Ship can recall its Naval Force Troops just like a normal Base, and then the recalled Troops will enter the Command Ship. And they can only be redeployed until the Command Ship is built into a Naval Base.
d. A Command Ship can travel across the shore and convert into a Command Truck when it reaches the land. A feature that allows a Command Truck to recall Ground Force Troops has also been added to the game.
9. Taking into consideration that players currently have a relatively low naval development level, we have temporarily disabled the navy's ability to engage in combat with the army and air force, and we will enable it at an appropriate time.
[New Officers]
[Liberty Blaze] Lucas Oliveira, a versatile naval Officer. Skill overview:
1. Target Lock: Prep Time: 8s. Deals skill Dmg to an enemy (Dmg Coefficient 850/1000/1250/1500/1800). Increases the Dmg Intensity of this Officer's Troop by 5%/7%/9%/11%/15% for 8s.
2. Maritime Expedition: Increases the Firepower of this Officer's Troop by 13%/18%/24%/30%/40%.
3. Mariner's Resolve: Increases the Normal Attack Boost of this Officer's Troop by 13%/16%/19%/23%/30%.
4. Fleet Vanguard: Increases the Speed of this Officer's Warships by 2%/3%/5%/7%/10%, and reduces their Load Time by 1%/2%/3%/4%/5%.
5. Heroic Valor: Increases the Dmg Intensity of this Officer's Troop by 10% and its Dmg Resist by 10%.
6. How to Recruit: Participate in the Tide of Honor event to unlock Liberty Blaze.
[Captain Unbeaten] James Patrick, a versatile naval Officer. Skill overview:
1. Bravado: Prep Time: 8s. Grants this Officer's Warships a Shield (Shield Coefficient 750/950/1150/1400/1800) for 4s; increases the Dmg Resist of this Officer's Troop by 5%/7%/9%/11%/15% for 8s.
2. Survival Tactics: Increases the HP of this Officer's Troop by 13%/18%/24%/30%/40%.
3. Lucky One: Increases the Dmg Resist of this Officer's Troop by 6%/9%/12%/15%/20%.
4. Nimble Defense: Increases the Missile Defense of this Officer's Warships by 10%/13%/16%/20%/25%.
5. Living Legend: Whenever this Officer's Warships are attacked, they have a 20% chance to recover HP (Healing Coefficient 500). Can trigger once every 8s.
6. How to Recruit: Complete the first Navy Campaign chapter to unlock Captain Unbeaten.
[Tidewatcher] Sergey Petrovich, a versatile naval Officer. Skill overview:
1. Daring Stand: Prep Time: 8s. Calls for air strike and deals Dmg to an enemy (Dmg Coefficient 850/1000/1250/1500/1800). If the enemy hit has over 50% HP, the strike deals extra Dmg to the enemy (Dmg Coefficient 200/240/290/350/450).
2. Final Defense: Increases the Officer Skill Boost of this Officer's Warships by 13%/16%/19%/23%/30%.
3. Ocean Fortress: Increases the Firepower of this Officer's Troop by 6%/9%/12%/15%/20% and its HP by 6%/9%/12%/15%/20%.
4. Counter Salvo: Increases the Missile Defense of this Officer's Warships by 10%/13%/16%/20%/25%.
5. Wavebreaker: Whenever this Officer's Troop kills an enemy unit, it has a 30% chance to shorten the Prep Time of its skills by 1s. This skill can be triggered once every 8s.
6. How to Recruit: Build No.1 Shipyard to unlock Tidewatcher.
[Maritime City: Azores]
1. Maritime City: Azores is available on servers that have been online for 60 days.
2. You can earn abundant rewards by eliminating Raven Navy Troops in the Azores.
3. In the Azores, you can capture Strategic Places without first connecting them to your Alliance Central Command or Alliance Turret.
4. Normal Villages in the Azores cannot be captured.
5. City events such as Arms Race and Camp chests will be linked to the City where you were located before teleporting to the Azores.
6. The Azores does not belong to any Battleground.
[Conquest: Aegean Sea]
1. Conquest: Aegean Sea is a new Theater of Conquest map.
2. The Aegean Sea is a Conquest map that features battlefields on land and sea. Lead your ground forces through new terrain, all while commanding your naval forces to fight for new strategic locations at sea.
3. In Conquest: Aegean Sea, Alliances on the same battlefield will contest for supremacy in two evenly matched teams.
4. Help your team occupy Strategic Places to earn Faction Points, which will be used to determine the ultimate winner.
5. Conquest: Aegean Sea is divided into multiple Combat Zones. Performing Airlifts across Combat Zones requires Airlift Permits. Everyone receives a supply of Airlift Permits at the start of the Theater of Conquest. After that, the Airlift Permit count is restored by 1 every 24 hours if it's not full.
6. In Conquest: Aegean Sea, Alliance Repute Rankings will not be used. Individual rewards will be calculated based on Commander Contribution Rankings instead.
7. The Aegean Sea Conquest introduces new restrictions for Naval Units based on Battlefield tiers, capping participants' Unit Level, Unit Star Level, and Fortified Wall Levels. These restrictions will be adjusted in future sessions based on Commanders' overall Naval Unit progression.
8. The Black Market now sells items that can be used on Naval Units
[New Sign-In Event: Tide of Honor]
1. Commanders with access to the Naval Force feature can participate in the Tide of Honor event. Log in for 18 days to recruit Liberty Blaze and claim Liberty Blaze Statues, along with a wealth of resources to upgrade your Naval Units.
[October Halloween Hunt]
1. Halloween Hunt: During this event, you can use Energy Batteries to hunt the Spectral Overlord for all sorts of prizes. Once the Spectral Overlord has been attacked enough times, it'll trigger a "Ghost Hunt", which will spawn Ghosts across the map. You and your allies can hunt down these Ghosts for extra rewards.
2. Fright Night Treasure Search: Join the treasure search to earn fantastic prizes!
3. Phantom Trip: Complete missions for massive rewards. Complete enough missions and you'll earn extra 5-Star Unit Pieces.
4. Legendary Showroom: The Legendary Showroom has returned. What new treasures will there be this time? Stay tuned to find out.
[Optimizations]
Jurisdiction Adjustments
1. With the introduction of the Naval Force feature, you will be able to gain Prestige for Jurisdiction through the following activities:
a. Use 5-Star Naval Unit Pieces to obtain a Unit.
b. Eliminate Raven Troops in sea areas.
c. These changes will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
Grand Showdown Adjustments
1. With the introduction of the Naval Force feature, you will be able to earn Points and Alliance points in Grand Showdown through the following activities:
a. Use 5-Star Naval Unit Pieces to obtain a Unit.
b. Eliminate Raven Troops in sea areas.
c. These changes will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
2. You can now earn Naval Force EXP from the City Point reward. This change will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
Arms Race Adjustments
1. You will be able to earn Points and Alliance points in Arms Race through the following activities:
a. Use 5-Star Naval Unit Pieces to obtain a Unit.
b. Eliminate Raven Troops in sea areas.
c. These changes will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
2. You can now earn Naval Force EXP from certain Point rewards and the City Point rewards. This change will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
Battle Honors Adjustments
1. You will be able to earn Points and Alliance points in Battle Honors through the following activities:
a. Use 5-Star Naval Unit Pieces to obtain a Unit.
b. Eliminate Raven Troops in sea areas.
c. These changes will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
2. You can now earn Naval Force EXP from the City Point reward. This change will take effect on October 21, 2024 UTC.
Paratrooper Invasion
1. After the event begins, Raven Troops will spawn around Commanders' Naval Bases.
a. Since only the garrisoned Naval Force Troops can defend your Naval Base during an attack, no Raven Bombers will spawn when you participate in the event with a Naval Base.
2. Navy-related items have been added to the event rewards.
a. After the update, Commanders with access to the Naval Force feature will be able to view the event rewards when the next Paratrooper Invasion starts.
Unit Balance Optimizations
1. Calibration Rounds: A new modern Rocket Launcher feature. After locking onto a target, the Blast Dmg of normal attacks is increased to 150% starting from the second attack. This effect lasts until a new target is selected or the troop stops firing.
2. Earth-Penetrator Bomb: A new modern Vanguard Bomber feature. Damage from modern Vanguard Bombers ignores the damage reduction that Infantry Troops receive while bunkered.
3. HE Ammo: A new modern Vanguard Bomber feature. Damage from modern Vanguard Bombers is shared by all visible units of the target troop, with total damage increased by 2% for each visible unit.
[Artillery Garrison Adjustment]
1. When a Base is under attack, the Howitzers and Anti-Tank Guns garrisoned in the Base will automatically enter their firing position state.
2. They will exit this state three minutes after a battle ends.
3. Artillery Troops will immediately leave the firing position state upon exiting the Base.
[Other Optimizations]
1. Navy-related items have been added to the ranking rewards for the Conqueror event during Conquest. This change will take effect from the first Conquest following the update.
2. Navy-related items have been added to the Conqueror's Plunder event rewards during Conquest. This change will take effect from the first Conquest following the update.
3. Navy-related items have been added to the Operation Spycatcher rewards. This change will take effect from the first Operation Spycatcher event following the update.
4. Fixed an issue where the Firepower bonus from the modern Part Mechanic was ineffective in specific situations.
